DO, quit your day-job.

This is the goal.

Working where I currently work has been a blessing in many ways, and I have been able to grow and learn as I have been here. But, now more than ever, I look forward to 4,430, and 5 PM in the day.

I look forward to the end of "work" in the afternoon not because I hate my job, but because it is when I can really begin to start "working" for the day. My "day job" is great for what it is, but when I begin working after I clock out, is when my passion, and drive clock in.

This time every day my mind gets super creative with ideas, and articles/blogs, and my ambition goes through the roof. If I am tired, I take a nap, then stay up really late. If I want to play video games in between I do it. The cavs game is on ? Great, I'll "work" while I am watching Lebron be a beast.

For right now I am trying to build a social media marketing business from the ground up, and every moment of my day is spent thinking about marketing, and the parts that I am able I fill with making connections and building brands.

Some big developments are beginning to come across my table. Nothing has been on the monetary side yet, which is fine for now, because I love the hustle more than I believe I could ever love the money. But it's just a result of always being in the mindset to learn and grow. It's weird that once the symbolic "ball" of life and career begins to roll, gravity takes control. I am constantly thinking about how I can help push it along, and smooth out the edges, improve on the design, and help dissolve any friction along the way. I am also starting to see where the knowledge I have gained from endless researching, studying, reading and honing my skill set in marketing is going to play out.

I know that I will be able to make some great things happen for myself in the years to come, but the road to get there isn't always clear. And what I know now more than ever, is that that is completely ok. It's actually kind of what I prefer. Yeah, I know, kinda cliche Lee. But really, I'm learning to enjoy the process because building it is the fun part. Putting together the pieces, and figuring out how each stacks on top of the other to create something huge is awesome. I always loved playing with Lincoln Logs anyways.

Finally, I am so so grateful for the people in my life, and the blessings that I am given day in and out. I really want to continue to connect with everyone that I can, and grow my "network," which includes professional and personal acquaintances.

If I was to summarize this singular post, it would be something along the lines of this:

I plan on quitting my "day job", and with all of my heart I hope that you, the individual reading this sentence right now, strive to quit your "day job" as well if it isn't your passion.

Thank you for taking 5 minutes to read this. I hope that it can make you think in a way about the time that you have and begin to be intentional with it! That has really been the biggest part for me. Learning that the day is just beginning at the end of the "work day" is a pretty cool view to have on your days.

Please Please Please reach out if you have any questions, or if this made you think about anything! I really love talking with anyone and everyone!
